COVENANTS APPLYING TO THE DUNES

(a) Not to use the said land for any purpose other than residential;

(b) Not to erect or place on the said land any temporary structure (including any caravan or tent) other than for one period not exceeding three months in any year;

(c) Not to use or permit to be used in the erection or repair of any building on the land without prior written consent of the Transferor or its agent (in this Schedule “Transferor”):

(i) any galvanised iron or any flat fibrolite cement sheeting or plywood in the external walls thereof unless the flat fibrolite cement sheeting or ply-wood is wholly covered with an applied textured finish or coating or, in the case of plywood is battened at intervals of not more than 600mm measured centre-to-centre (i.e. not more than 600mm centres); nor

(ii) corrugated products or steel which, excluding the roof, forms more than a third of the external covering of any building; nor

(iii) any non-permanent or second-hand or used building materials in the walls, roof or other external surfaces thereof;

(d) Not to use or permit to be used in erection or repair of any fence on the said land without the prior written consent of the Transferor:

(i) any corrugated iron profile steel flat fibrolite cement sheeting or plywood unless the flat fibrolite cement sheeting or plywood is wholly covered with an applied textured finish or coating or, in the case of plywood, is battened at intervals of not more than 600mm measured centre-to-centre (i.e. not more than 600mm centres); nor

(ii) any non-permanent or second-hand or used building material.

(e) To carry out and complete building a new dwelling and/or new ganging (including all painting and all landscaping) within 12 months of commencement of construction.

(f) Not to erect or place or permit to be erected or placed on the said land water tanks higher than 1½ meters above the ground level of the land.

Note – there are covenants that apply to the treatment of waste water as well.
